GSK COOLING TOWER PLATFORM – ZEBULON, NC

Since 2020, QC Commercial has served as a trusted painting and coatings contractor for GSK’s pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Zebulon, North Carolina. During that time, QC has completed a wide range of commercial and industrial coating projects throughout the facility, including high-performance epoxy flooring systems, large tank farms, diesel secondary containment areas, boilers, rooftop structural steel, and extensive pipe racks spanning several hundred feet.

Pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities operate under stringent regulatory and maintenance standards. Corrosion, deteriorated coatings, and exposed steel must be properly addressed to maintain facility standards and protect critical assets. QC’s crews have extensive experience preparing and coating deteriorated steel and concrete in active industrial environments.

The photographs shown here highlight a recently completed rooftop cooling tower platform. The structural steel was protected with a high-performance epoxy/polyurethane coating system designed to provide long-term corrosion protection and resistance to UV exposure, chemicals, weather, and physical wear.
