Palziv North America selected QC Commercial to restore the exterior coatings on six large process silos at its Louisburg, North Carolina manufacturing facility.
Years of exposure had caused significant deterioration of the existing coatings, requiring extensive surface preparation before the new coating system could be applied. Access presented an additional challenge due to the height of the silos and the limited working space between them.
QC coordinated with Sunbelt Scaffolding to provide a comprehensive access system that allowed our crews to safely reach all exterior surfaces. The silos were prepared and recoated to restore both their appearance and long-term protection from the elements.
The completed project transformed the aging silos and demonstrates QC Commercial’s ability to manage complex industrial coating projects where access, surface preparation, safety, and finished appearance are equally important.
